Its the Weekend

Morning all,
The weekend is here .. will I get to craft? mmmmm .. lets see ha ha ha
Hubby has just gone off to do a quote then he getting some timber .. then he back! I have been told that I need to de camp downstairs will all my stuff.
He is putting in new loft hatch today so will be making a huge amount of mess on landing  it also means that when its finished we can have lights back for hallway and landing .. YAY
Means I shall be downstairs with cats, but also means that I shall have me laptop so will be around all day if peeps want to nip on and chat 
I have to make this 40th anniversary card so thats what I shall be planning today!
Whats everyone else up to?

Im now downstairs on my very slooooooow laptop .. maybe coz Im running design studio too but it really slow!
Im trying to design a ruby wordbook just to be a bit different .. at least in design studio if it looks pants then you just delete it .. not really used it properly since I bought it so thought would give it a go ha ha ha ha
If it dont work then I shall just make a card. Hate anniversary cards .. i find them so difficult to do

oh bum .. just designed something and wanted to cut it but need the usb lead to run between lap top and cricut .. and cant find it .. hubby got mess all over landing so cant check me bag .. oh pooh!
Now Im stuck for something to do

i will have a mooch .. I like body shop stuff!
my hubby in a pretty good mood .. freaking me out a bit really coz normally when he doing stuff he really grumpy.
He even managed to clear space for me to get me wire (which i eventually found buried)!
no holiday scrapbooking for me .. cant really .. not with this anniversary thing coming up .. its only two weeks tomorrow and next weekend wont be able to do anything, so thought would apply myself today. You never know, if I get something made today I always have tomorrow.

Im actually chuffed with what I drafted now .. taken me all morning but am really pleased.
Hubby impressed too .. will show you when I make it properly as at moment its just cut in minging papers and all different colours to see how it lines up!
I had forgotten how cool this design studio is .. I so dont use it enough.
Hubby has seen how much room all this has taken up on the dining table and said to him .. look I need proper desk .. he did say that he knows and I will have one as soon as is feasible

I have managed to cut the works on some red card but thats about as far as I have got .. Im frightened of messing it up .... nearly messed it up big time little while ago as I had nose bleed! ha ha ha hubby said, at least card red!
Am thinking of using pattern paper to cover the blocky bits as look bland at mo, then maybe cut the letters separately using gold mirri and red mirri .. suppose only one way to find out ha ha ha

Thier new cranberry stuff smells so good, when she send me details ill let u know of offers etc, i was well naughty spent £50 last night!
OH off out for fireworks tonight but im cat sitting!
Been at OH folks today as OH had some work to do me and his mum decided presents then saw his middle bro and they aint doing b'day or xmas for adults ne more unless u have kids, so we aint gonna get anything from them so dunno what to do with pressie I got them!!
I might do all my work tonight so I can scrap tomorrow what u reckon? Got ldos of albums to make! My mate sending me halloween pics tonight so finally I can show u what I looked like!
I did that made such a mess OH said well we need to sort u some storage so now got shelf plastic stoerage and a work top wahoo!!
Gold and red mirror sounds well nice, be on and off all day hxx

hi helly .. poor you in by yourself, although where we were it was heavy rain and thunder and lightning .. not nice to be out in !!
we had loads of fireworks going off even though weather was bad. Cats didnt like it at all.
Looks like you might have to flog their pressies or give them to someone else. they could have told you earlier though thats what there were gonna do.
I got this card to finish off today .. I managed to get the front parts covered in paper, plus the gold mirrir and red mirri .. I raised the red up a little bit to make it more interesting. I now got to find things to decorate it with .. thats the hardest bit to make it look pretty ha ha ha dont look like no scrapbooking today
bit of good news, that printer been after for me dad was showing in stock today so have reserved it to collect! Thats one thing ticked off the list LOL

Its absolutely hammering it down outside .. not nice at all!
hubby doing lights in hallway and Im back to dining table .. have got a creative block at mo just also got in a really stick mess with my silicone!
I need to get thinking cap on as this card has to be done today
